Voltmark adds California's two electronics fees to orders shipping there: the eWaste fee per device by screen size, and the battery-embedded fee as a share of the selling price up to a cap. Rates come from the state tax agency's pages, with the date read. You mark which products are covered from the state's lists; a product marked both ways is flagged. A return summary for a month or quarter shows devices, units and fees. You still register and file with the state. Not tax advice.

How am I billed?
$9 a month through Shopify's own app billing, on your normal Shopify bill. No card is taken here and there is no share of your sales.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify tells the app the moment you uninstall, and the app erases what it kept for your store. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered the same way. The full detail is on the app's own privacy page.
