Shopify merchants running giveaways. $9 a month. The giveaway apps that run entries cost $30 to $999 a month (ViralSweep $49-$999, Clean Sweeps $30-$199); none of them is a rules and registration check at a price a small shop pays for one giveaway a season.
What it does
Inside Tombola
Each one with its prize total, which states want it registered, and a list of what is in the way. "Put it live" is the door: it refuses, naming every reason. A live giveaway is frozen, and the rules as published are kept with it.
Name, dates, draw date, minimum age, entries per person, how people enter (purchase, free way and the free way in a sentence), prizes with their approximate retail value, and the states: tick a state off to leave it out (the rules then say so), or record the filing and bond dates. Each state's deadline is the start date less that state's days ahead.
No purchase necessary, sponsor, eligibility, dates, how to enter, prizes and total, odds, winners list - saved as a text file.
The sponsor's legal name and address, whether giveaways run with a retail shop, and each state's line and days ahead (defaults: New York 30, Florida 7, Rhode Island 7 - settings to check against each state's rule).

How am I billed?
$9 a month through Shopify's own app billing, on your normal Shopify bill. No card is taken here and there is no share of your sales.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Shopify tells the app the moment you uninstall, and the app erases what it kept for your store. Customer data requests from Shopify are answered the same way. The full detail is on the app's own privacy page.
