At checkout it hides the services that cannot reach the address, leaves the USPS ones, and tells the customer why in one sentence. Military addresses are checked for the right city, state code and ZIP range, with a customs form reminder. Open orders booked on the wrong carrier are caught and switched to USPS in one press.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
