For shopify print-on-demand sellersShows the true margin on every print-on-demand order and flags orders stuck at your provider.
For print-on-demand sellers. It works out what each order and product really makes after the provider's base cost (on the day the order was sent), provider shipping, fees and discounts. It flags products that lose money after a base-cost rise, orders paid but never sent to the provider, orders in production past the provider's window, and orders shipped without tracking reaching Shopify. It warns of products whose blank is discontinued and checks whether a provider's paid plan pays off.

The problem
A print-on-demand watchtower for Shopify: the true margin on every order and product after base cost, provider shipping, fees and discounts — and every order stuck at Printful, Printify or Gelato past its window.
- What did this order really make, after the provider took its cut?
- Which products lose money now that the provider raised the base cost?
- Which orders were paid and never sent to the provider?
- Which are sitting in production longer than the provider says they take?
- Which shipped without a tracking number reaching Shopify (so the customer was never told)?
What it does
Inside Halftone
orders, what customers paid, true profit, margin, stuck orders, every problem in words with a link, where the money went, and margin by provider.
every stuck order, where it is stuck, for how many days, and what to do; plus the rules in force.
every order's true margin; each order in detail with its provider timeline (editable: status, dates, tracking at the provider and in Shopify) and each line's base cost, shipping, fees, discount and profit.
each Shopify variant, the blank it prints on, the blank's stock at the provider, what one makes today, the price that meets the target margin, units sold and earned; each one in detail with the blank's base-cost history (add a price change on a date).
each provider's production window, its plans, and the plan sum: base cost over the last 30 days, what each plan saves, its break-even spend, which losing products it would rescue, and a verdict.
Shopify's own Orders CSV export, then a provider's order export.
payment fees, target margin, shipping charged, the stuck-day counts, the "as of" day, look, backup / restore / sample / erase. Records live in this browser under the localStorage key halftone.v1. Save a backup file from Settings now and then. A record that cannot be read is set aside under its own key, never written over.
