Every issue, spend, expiry and void is a row in one ledger, and every balance is worked out from it. The What is owed page shows the outstanding total by kind and proves it adds up, plus cards expiring soon and cards untouched for years. Codes avoid look-alike characters. A batch cannot be issued twice. It states the US federal expiry rule; not legal or accounting advice.

Merchants issuing promo cards, refunds as store credit, or corporate gift orders. GV (4.3 stars, 96 reviews) was free and moved growing stores to a paid plan in 2026 without warning, by its own reviews; GiftFix (5.0, 27 reviews) makes bulk cards at $2.99 / $4.99 with a monthly card cap and no store credit. Neither listing mentions a ledger or the outstanding-balance figure a gift card liability needs on the books.
What it does
Inside Scrip
Issued − spent − expired − voided = outstanding = the sum of every card's balance. The page shows both sides and "Agrees", or how far apart they are.

Promotional cards (given away) may expire sooner and are labelled "Promotional" in the export the customer's card is printed from. Store credit defaults to no expiry. The page says where state law may be stricter.
31 characters with no 0/O or 1/I/L, from the browser's cryptographic random source, 15 plus a check character that is proved (by an exhaustive test) to catch every single mistyped character and every two swapped neighbours.
Each names its order or PO; the same reference again is refused.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
