Mise
Shoppable recipe cards: kitchen amounts, packs in the cart, checked schema · $9 a month

Shoppable recipe cards for your blog that scale servings and add the right packs to the cart.

Write a recipe once and link each ingredient to a product you sell. On the blog post, readers change the servings and the amounts are written the way a cook reads them: halves and quarters for spoons and cups, three teaspoons become a tablespoon, eggs and tins are never cut. They tick what they already have and add the rest to the cart in one press, in whole packs, with sold-out items left out. Mise also builds the recipe data search engines read and tells you what is missing before you publish.

On its way to the Shopify App Store. Write to us and we will set your store up first - it is billed through your Shopify bill, like any app.

What it does

Inside Mise

Amounts for a kitchen

quarters, thirds and halves for spoons and cups; three teaspoons become a tablespoon; grams above 50 round to 5; eggs, cloves, tins and pinches are never cut. The arithmetic underneath is exact.

Packs, not amounts

3 tins is 3 tins; a spoon measure becomes grams only where the product says what a teaspoon of it weighs — otherwise one pack is suggested and marked to check.

The cart

leaves out what is sold out (said on the card) and what the reader ticks as already in the cupboard.

Recipe data

(schema.org Recipe, as JSON-LD) with times in ISO 8601, checked: name and photo are required for rich results; times, yield, ingredients, steps, description, author, date, category, cuisine, keywords and ratings are recommended. The page says which are missing.

No nutrition figures

those need a food database this app does not have, and a made-up calorie count is worse than none.
