What it does
Inside Letterhead
Each email is written once. In sample mode it fills in a made-up order for the preview; in Liquid mode the same code writes Shopify's own notification variables ({{ order_name }}, {% for line in line_items %}, {{ line.final_line_price | money }}, {{ fulfillment.tracking_urls.first }}, {{ amount | money }}). The preview and the code cannot drift apart.

before anything is copied: text, button and footer colours against WCAG contrast (4.5:1); a logo embedded in the email (Gmail will not show it) or not on https; any email over Gmail's 102 KB clipping size; no postal address or contact email in the footer.
