What it does

Inside Halfdime

Tills

each shop location and its state; the rounding rule is set to what the state's law points to (nearest nickel, or always down where the shop chooses), with the law's note and "Confirmed today" where the method is still to be confirmed against the statute.

Sales

each sale: till, order, cash or card, the total after tax and what was charged, checked against the till's rule. A rounded card payment or a wrong cash rounding leads the to-do list.

Calculator

type the total after tax, see the cash price and the rounding.

Books

rounding up, down and net by till and month, for a "cash rounding" account; saved as CSV.

Settings

sample shop, backup, theme. Nearest nickel: 1 and 2 cents round down, 3 and 4 up, 6 and 7 down, 8 and 9 up. Tax is always worked out first, on the exact price.

How am I billed?

$4 a month through Shopify's own app billing, on your normal Shopify bill. No card is taken here and there is no share of your sales.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
