Hailer adds a chat button to your store. It opens your shop's own messaging number with a message already filled in for the page: the product, variant and price, the cart items and total, or the order number. The number is checked so it never reaches a stranger. Shoppers go to whoever is on shift, always the same person for each shopper. Outside your hours the button shows when replies start, or hides. Presses are counted per page type; nothing about the shopper is kept.

Shops whose buyers already message on WhatsApp. The incumbent (SuperLemon, 3.5 stars on 352 reviews, 29% of them one-star) has a free plan, then $9.99 a month (messages from its shared number) and $29.99, plus WhatsApp charges from $0.015 a message.
What it does
Inside Hailer
country code and digits, no +, no spaces, no trunk 0. "07700 900123" in the UK becomes 447700900123; "+44 07700…" is refused (that 0 makes WhatsApp miss); a US number of the wrong length is refused. Fourteen countries' lengths are known; others need a + and are checked for 8–15 digits.
product pages fill {product}, {variant}, {price}, {url}; carts {items}, {total}; the order page {order}. A placeholder the page cannot fill is flagged in the editor and left out of the message, never sent as "{order}".
only people on shift get shoppers, each shopper always the same person. A person with a broken number is left out of the rota. Outside every shift the button shows when replies start, or hides.

How am I billed?

What happens to my data if I uninstall?
